Yoked

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14

Forces that look like they are harmless can be the footholds that Satan uses to deceive believers into thinking that their affiliations with the world are inconsequential.  Allowing the foolishness of the world to blind you to the truth is a dangerous path.  Beware that you steadfastly link yourself to those who will stand by you as chaos and
confusion attempt to assail your faith.  Be like-minded with those who love the Lord.  Together, Be diligent in prayer and supplication, study the word and develop humility in your witness.  Involve yourselves in selfless service, sacrificial giving and both corporate and individual worship.  Hide your hearts in Jesus Christ the foundation, the rock on which your salvation was constructed.  Lean mightily on the Holy Spirit for unfettered discernment and comfort in all things.  Praise God for all of your blessings, even those that look like trials.  Know that the day is coming when you will stand to
be judged by One who is righteous enough to know your deeds for what they really are.  Yoke yourself to believers that are bearing fruit. That is how you will know that they are the children of God.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take MY yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Matthew 11:28 – 30
